Day 2: Reacting To My First Post | DailyAugust

Hey guys, welcome to Day 2 of DailyAugust! Today I am going to be reacting to my first post. So here is that post:

Welcome to Smiley Central and 25 Facts About Me

Hi everybody, I'm Catherine, AKA, The Guinea Pig Girl, The One with No Bones, Catherine The Happy Person or "that weird girl" (I don't get offended by these comments, I agree!). I will be posting on this blog about anything that pops into my mind that I think might make you smile. I love writing and this is just another thing to make me happy, my goal for you is to find one little thing that makes you happy, because little things build up to a mountain of happiness and smiles. This is my first post (I'm sure I'll cringe at it years from now) and I have written 25 things about me, here we go:

1. I live in New Zealand
2. My two favourite colours are pink and blue
3. Orange and blue together makes me feel weird
4. I love animals
5. I am learning to play the guitar
6. I love YouTube
7. My favourite YouTuber is Zoella
8. I love school
9. I love guinea pigs
10. I don’t have a favourite animal
11. My favourite foods are strawberries and bacon
12. I love to read
13. I think everything is cute
14. My favourite words are ‘marsupial’ and ‘discombobulated’
15. I can’t handle crowds, this fear is called enochlophobia
16. I’m a bit OCD (hence the rainbow coloured text)
17. My favourite singer is Lorde (or Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O’Connor)
18. I love to sing and write songs
19. My favourite books are The Fault in Our Stars and Girl Online
20. I love gymnastics
21. I have three step-siblings and a step-father
22. I’m a natural leader
23. I prefer sucking on my lollies
24. My best friends are called Kate-Ann, Sophie and Danielle
25. I hate the number 87 and love the number 106

Let's start with the title, "Welcome to Smiley Central and 25 Facts About Me", I didn't even use a & sign! By the way, lovely rainbow font . . . that nobody can read . . .

I'm actually quite happy with that intro. It says who I am and I'm honest about myself from the very beginning, which is good, that writing is not as EXCITED as me now and I think that I could of used around five more exclamation marks but I think that blogging writing style comes with reading more blogs and just blogging for a while. Aprt from that, it's a pretty good intro, that's probably because I liked watching YouTubers so I kinda had an idea of what it was supposed to look and sound like. It's a nice intro but I dont think anybody can actually read it because of the font . . .

The facts are okay, I like how I added little notes in brackets, I love reading those notes on other people's blogs and the can be funny. Some of my facts are a bit boring but oh well, there are some good ones there too!

Now onto the ending! Oh . . . there isn't one . . .

With all that said, I would never delete this post, it's the storry of how Smiley Central came to be and I would never want to ruin that! I hope you enjoyed that post! Have a great day!
